Exclamatory Insanity

Here are some things my readers should know about me.

I take internet grammar very seriously. Awful internet grammar is one of the banes of my existance here are the rules to be my friend/ me not to shank you:

*DO NOT MISSPELL WORDS THAT MAKE THE WORD LONGER OR JUST AS LONG TO MAKE IT SEEM COOLER.
i.e. cool into kewl, my into mai (I hate when people do that), or camp into kamp

*Please no uppercase lowercase junk. It is so annoying, it just shows how much of a loser you are and how much time you have to waste..

*Follow the rules for when using the exclamation mark. Honestly just use it when you are excited about something or trying to emphasize something amazing. You should not however use it like this:
So I went to the store! I bought green beans! It was so cool because the check out lady was fat and ugly!!!

So please use tact and the time when blogging/myspacing/facebooking/instant messaging. I will ever be so appreciative.

Beachside, Lakeside

So growing up in California I've come to appreciate the beach. No wait i take that back I've come to adore/love/cherish the beach because it is so fun with the opportunities of surfing/boogie boarding/sandcastle building/catching sandcrabs (little crabs that are clear). However this last summer I was able to work at a camp that was right on the lake and I learned all about 'lake fun'. However which is better lakeside or beachside. Let the comparisons start.

Beachside
All you need to have fun are these things:
A towel
Sunscreen (we don't like skin cancer)

What you can do with these items:
play in the water
tan
Bodysurf
make sand castles
jump in the waves
run from the waves

Fun items for a price:
Boogie board ($19.99) Which I strongly encourage I love boogie boarding it is one of my passions in life. ONe of my goals is to be able to do an 'el rolo'
Surf board ($278.99) one for a cheaper price, but if you learn how to surf you will enjoy it. It takes a while to get a hang of, but when you do it is amazing.

Things taht make the beach great is you are subject to the waves. Once I was in Hawaii and I was bodysurfing in one of the amazing beaches and I got totally thrashed in one of the waves. It left a hugs sand rash on my side. Was it worth it though? Yes I can tell you it was, because now I have this great story that makes me so much cooler than you (okay not really, but if I had a scar from it definately).

The lake:
Beach
Sunsceen

What you can do with these items:
Splash in the water
tan.
swim. (but in gross water, you might as well go to a pool)

Fun items for a price:
Master Craft X2 ($60,288.00)
Hyperlite Wakeboard ($55.00)
Tow rope ($44.99)
Tube ($149.00)

Now I like to wakeboard and tube just as much as the next person, but dude the price tag for a boat well stop me from having any fun. how sad. To have fun at the lake is very expensive. no bueno para mi bolsa.

So which is better?
I'm going to go with the more inexpensive option. The beach!
woo hoo!

which side do I sleep on.

soooo.... after getting a queen sized bed I have the ability to sleep on the left side or the right side. I usually sleep on the left side and I was wondering if I it was because of habit or because it is actually the more comfortable side. So I did a experiment:

hypothesis: If i sleep on the right side of the bed I will eventually move unconciouslly to the left side of the bed.

august 6, 2008:
I started on the right side only to wake up multiple times in different positions such as. diagonal upper right to lower left the opposite and in a human ball right by my pillows. my hypothesis was not realized I however did not stay on the right side so it technically true.

august 7, 2008:
I started in the middle and was a side winder again eventually winding up on teh left side. I'm hoping to just see which side I will quietly sleep on the whole night without moving.

August 8, 2008:
I started sleeping on my tummy on the right side (I don't sleep on my tummy)then woke up and started sleeping on my side on the left side of the bed. I then moved over to the window side (which is the right side) because it was cooler. I don't know if that counts because temperature could be a variable.

Results: I do prefer teh left side, but I am obviously a quite violent sleeper.

conclusion: I am going to need a husband who is a deep sleeper and doesn't mind that I am a mover and probably will kick him.
